With a focus on participatory, interactive sessions, delegates have the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and dive into two big topics. On May 6th the entire afternoon is dedicated to an examination of EPR in BC; where we are, where we want to go, and how we can get there. Then on May 7th delegates will focus their creative energy to work with area experts on creating a circular economy.

The circular economy is, by design and intention, restorative, in that material flows are either designed to re-enter the environment safely, or re-circulate into production. We will be exploring two main circularity streams for this year's conference:

  • On the product side, we’ll look at what we are doing now and how circularity can be applied.  This means new or redefined business models, a focus on durable products, on maintenance and repair. It means purchasing performance or access, without some of the cost and headaches of ownership.
  • On the agriculture and organics side it means changing systems, business models, as well as wasteful practices and habits. It can also mean looking at innovative ways to manage, treat and process organics and the possibilities for new products, services or even renewable energy sources.

General Schedule

May 6 - Conference opens at 12 p.m. (registration in the morning)

May 7- All day sessions

May 8 - Conference closes at 12 p.m.
